Production Update #4 — The Curse Continues

Ahoy, Backers!
It's time for another quick production update from the depths.
Production on Blood & Brine: Widow's Wake continues to move forward, and we're excited to report that one major milestone has officially been completed.
Tuck Cases Complete
The tuck boxes for all editions have been fully manufactured and approved. They have now been shipped to the printer, where they will be paired with the card production once printing is complete.
Seeing the finished tuck cases has been incredible. The foil, embossing, and detailing turned out exactly as we envisioned, and they capture the dark atmosphere of the Widow's Wake perfectly.
Playing Cards Still in Production
The cards themselves remain in production and are currently moving through the various printing and finishing stages.
As many of you know, custom decks with multiple specialty finishes require additional production time, but everything is progressing as expected. We're continuing to work closely with the factory to ensure every detail meets our quality standards before moving to the next phase.
What's Next?
Once card production is completed:
• Deck assembly will begin
• Collector boxes and add-ons will be finalized
• Quality control inspections will take place
• Freight shipping arrangements will be scheduled
We're getting closer with each passing week, and we're excited to start sharing photos of the finished components as they become available.

Production Update #3 — The Curse Takes Shape

Ahoy, Backers!
We wanted to give everyone a quick production update on Blood & Brine: Widow’s Wake and where everything currently stands.
Production is officially moving forward across all major items from the campaign, and the project is looking incredible so far.
Current Production Timeline
Playing Cards
Classic, Limited, and Gold Gilded Editions are now in active production.
• Printing and foil application are underway
• Gilded decks will move into edge gilding next
• Estimated completion: July 2026
Collector Boxes
The Widow’s Wake Collector Boxes have entered manufacturing after final prototype approval.
• Magnetic closure boxes
• Premium textured materials
• Foil and embossed detailing
• Estimated completion: Late July 2026
Add-Ons & Stretch Goals
Dealer Coins - Molds are complete and metal production is beginning.
Trading Pins - These are currently completed and awaiting to receive them in the warehouse.
Booster Packs - Files approved and scheduled alongside deck production.
T-Shirts - Production scheduled closer to fulfillment.
Uncut Sheets & Uncut Tucks - Will be produced immediately after the main print run.
Estimated completion for all add-ons:
July–August 2026

Backer Shipping Begins - Late August / Early September 2026
As always, timelines can shift slightly due to manufacturing and overseas freight movement, but everything is currently progressing smoothly.

The winds have settled and the voyage has reached its first harbor.
The Blood & Brine: Widow’s Wake Playing Cards Kickstarter campaign has officially ended, and thanks to all of you, the project was a tremendous success. Now we move from the excitement of the campaign into the next stage—production.
First, let’s look at what this crew accomplished together.
Campaign Stats
- Funding Goal: $10,000
- Final Funding Total: $34,545
- Total Backers: 458
- Funding Level: 345% of the original goal
Because of your support, the project didn’t just fund—it surged far beyond the goal, unlocking multiple stretch goals and bringing several additional items to life, including the Booster Pack, Dealer Coin, and new collector add-ons.
That momentum is what allowed this project to grow into something much bigger than the original vision.
What Happens Next
With the funding period now complete, the project officially enters the production phase. Here’s what will happen over the coming weeks:

Kickstarter Payment Processing - Kickstarter is currently processing pledges and collecting payments from backers.

Final Production Preparation - All artwork and manufacturing specifications are being finalized for the decks, tuck boxes, coins, and add-ons.

Manufacturer Coordination - Files will be delivered to the production partners so manufacturing can begin on the Blood & Brine decks and collectibles.

Backer Surveys - Once everything is ready, surveys will be sent out so you can confirm your shipping details and finalize any add-ons.
