Blood & Brine Fulfillment Update: Collector Box Residue

Fulfillment is almost complete, with about 50 shipments left to send. Thank you for your patience as I finish getting these rewards out.
A few backers have told me that their three-deck collector box has sticky residue on it and that the bubble wrap bag stuck to the box. I’m sorry. I’ve made a short video showing how I removed the residue. If your box is affected, please use a light touch:

Test a small spot first. Lightly touch a piece of packing tape to the residue in a less visible area, then lift it slowly. Check that no printing, coating, or foil comes up.

Loosen the residue. With a clean, dry fingertip, gently roll the glue into small bits. Don’t use your fingernail or press hard.

Lift the loose bits. Dab them lightly with a fresh section of packing tape and peel it back slowly. Keep the tape away from the hot foil and embossed details.
Repeat only while the residue lifts easily. Stop if the print transfers, the finish changes, or the foil begins to lift.
Please don’t use Goo Gone or other adhesive removers, alcohol, acetone, oil, water, heat, scraping tools, or vigorous rubbing. These could damage the printing, foil, or paperboard.
How this happened?
When the shipment arrived, I inspected the Legacy Sets and found that the gilded deck inside each of the 300 collector boxes did not have a numbered seal. The 300 gilded decks with numbered seals had been packed as singles instead.
To put the numbered decks where they belonged, I removed the non-numbered seal from each collector box, replaced the unnumbered gilded deck inside with a numbered one, signed the back of the box, and wrote its corresponding number on it. I then placed each box in a bubble wrap bag to protect it during shipping. I also ordered seals so I could hand-number the 300 remaining gilded decks, which are packed as singles.
I didn’t realize that residue left by the removed box seals was causing some bubble wrap bags to stick until backers began receiving their boxes and told me. I have about 120 collector boxes left to handle, and I’m removing the residue from those before they ship.
I’m truly sorry for the extra work this has caused anyone who received an affected box. Thank you to the backers who brought it to my attention.

Ahoy, Backers!
I wanted to give everyone a quick update on Blood & Brine: Widow’s Wake and also share something new that I’ve been working on.
Fulfillment Is Still Underway
First and most importantly, Blood & Brine fulfillment is still moving forward.
We’ve been working through the orders and getting rewards packed and shipped out to backers. There are still orders to complete, but we are getting very close to the end of fulfillment.
If you haven’t received your shipping notification yet, please hang tight. We’re continuing to work through the remaining rewards and expect to have fulfillment wrapped up soon.
After the long road from production to finally getting these decks into your hands, it feels great to see Blood & Brine reaching backers around the world.

Production Update #7: The Shipment Arrives Tomorrow!

Great news—the Blood & Brine playing cards are scheduled to arrive at the warehouse tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15!
Once the shipment arrives, I’ll need approximately 24 hours to unload, organize, and verify the inventory before fulfillment begins.
Shipping is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 16. Orders will be packed and shipped in batches, so tracking notifications may arrive at different times as I work through every reward.
Thank you again for your patience and support throughout production. It has taken longer than originally planned, but we have finally reached the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Blood & Brine is almost in your hands!

Production Update #6 — Cards — COMPLETE!

Hey Backers!
I finally have the update I’ve been waiting to share with you:
The Blood & Brine playing cards are DONE!
After the production delays and reprints we’ve dealt with over the past few months, the decks have officially completed production. I paid the final production invoice today, and we are now preparing to get everything shipped to the United States.
What Happens Next?
We’re estimating approximately one month for the shipment to reach us here in Chattanooga, Tennessee. That includes international freight, arrival in the U.S., customs clearance, and final delivery to us.
Once everything arrives, we’ll inspect the shipment, organize all of the rewards, and begin packing your orders.
IMPORTANT — BackerKit Surveys Lock Friday
Now that we're approaching fulfillment, I will be locking your BackerKit surveys this Friday.
Please take a few minutes before Friday to review your survey and make sure everything is correct—especially your shipping address.
If you have moved or need to make any changes to your shipping information, please update your BackerKit survey by Friday.
Once the surveys are locked, I will also begin charging the credit cards on file for any additional add-ons purchased through BackerKit while completing your survey.
Please make sure the credit card associated with your BackerKit order is current and ready to be charged. If you added extra decks, coins, shirts, or other Blood & Brine rewards through the Pledge Manager, this is when those additional purchases will be collected.
